Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all users of Senna Research and the sennaresearch.com website. They must be agreed to before any purchase can be made. All products offered are supplied strictly as laboratory reagents for research use only. In purchasing any item, the customer acknowledges the risks involved in handling research chemicals. These materials are NOT intended for use as food additives, drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, household chemicals, or any other inappropriate application. The listing of a material on this site does not constitute a license to, or a recommendation for, its use in infringement of any patent.

Qualified purchasers

All products will be handled only by qualified and properly trained professionals. All customers represent and warrant that, through their own review and study, they are fully aware and knowledgeable about: government regulations regarding the use of and exposure to all products purchased; the health and safety hazards associated with handling those products; and the necessity of adequately warning others of those hazards. As a research reagent supplier, Senna Research is unable to provide any usage, dosing, or preparation guidance.

Senna Research reserves the right to limit and/or deny sales of products to any unqualified individual where we have reason to believe misuse may occur. All customers MUST be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to purchase our products, and may be required to complete research-access verification before pricing or ordering is enabled.

Limitation of liability and indemnity

Under no circumstances shall Senna Research or any associated affiliate be liable for consequential damages, whether the purchaser claims in contract, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise. In direct consideration of approving the sale of any product to the purchaser, the purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold Senna Research and its affiliates harmless from all claims, expenses, losses, and liability of any kind arising out of the purchaser's handling, possession, and/or use of the product, whether used alone or in combination with any other substance. Any sale will otherwise be denied.

Research use only

Senna Research products are intended solely for laboratory research purposes and, unless otherwise stated, are not to be used for any other purpose, including but not limited to in vitro diagnostic purposes, or in foods, drugs, medical devices, or cosmetics for humans or animals, or for commercial purposes. The purchaser agrees that the products have not been sterilized or tested by Senna Research for safety or efficacy in food, drug, medical device, cosmetic, commercial, or any other use.

The purchaser expressly represents and warrants that they will properly test, use, manufacture, and market any product purchased from Senna Research, and any materials produced with such products, in accordance with the practices of a reliable person experienced in the field and in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations now and hereafter enacted. The purchaser further warrants that any material produced with any product shall not be adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and shall not be material which may not, under Sections 404, 505, or 512 of that Act, be introduced into interstate commerce.

Because Senna Research products are, unless otherwise stated, intended solely for research purposes, they may not appear on the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) inventory listing. The purchaser assumes responsibility to assure that products purchased are approved for use under TSCA, if applicable, and to verify the hazards and conduct any further research necessary to learn the hazards involved in using products purchased from Senna Research.

No product purchased from Senna Research shall, unless otherwise stated, be considered a food, drug, medical device, or cosmetic. ALL products and services offered are for RESEARCH purposes ONLY. Under NO circumstances should any of these materials be used for therapeutic or diagnostic purposes. Senna Research is not liable for any damages caused by negligence, abuse, or any other unforeseen matter.

Accounts and access

Pricing and ordering are restricted to verified research professionals and registered entities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. Accounts found to be in violation of these terms or our compliance policy may be suspended or closed permanently, and outstanding orders cancelled.

International shipping condition

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any product ordered from Senna Research may be legally imported into their country and complies with all applicable local laws, regulations, and customs requirements.

Before placing an order, we encourage customers to review their country's import policies regarding research materials. While we are happy to provide shipping services to many international destinations, we cannot guarantee customs clearance or delivery once a package enters the destination country.

Any delays, holds, returns, refusals, seizures, confiscations, or other customs-related actions are outside of our control and remain the responsibility of the customer. Refunds or replacements cannot be provided for orders affected by customs restrictions or actions taken by local authorities.

Changes to these terms
